About Palace of the Shaki Khans

The 18th-century palace features stained glass, delicate wooden latticework and painted walls. It celebrates Sheki’s rich artistic heritage and stands within the UNESCO-listed historic centre. Shebeke craftsmanship combines coloured glass with wooden pieces to form intricate patterns. As sunlight passes through the windows, colourful reflections animate the rooms. The palace is a wonderful introduction to Sheki’s artistic and trading heritage.
